Not sure if they allow day use for the main baths. They do allow day use for the private family baths at about 1620 per person. As I didn't use those no idea on what they are like. Main bath has a very large indoor area and a smaller rock lined outdoor bath below it. There is a decent view of the river and bridge. Water is Gero Onsen water. I've always thought it was over hyped. The spring is naturally very hot, but the effect is minimal.
