A 5 minute walk from Hankyu Sonoda Station this is old, but well maintained public bath has a good local crowd. Fukujyu is quite small on the inside but not too worse for wear. Sadly it has some downfalls. The mist sauna had a strong musky, sweaty smell that turned me off. There was an outside area but it appeared unused and didn't have a bath but, instead, two showers. Maybe good in the summer heat, but useless in the winter. Also in order to get to some of the baths you have to step over people or wait for them to get out to get behind them. On the other hand, I enjoyed the old tile work, classic changing room, the local atmosphere and the bright open room the baths were in.
