Quality sento with some bright happy tiles inside and a decent outdoor area with a nice rock lined tub. Fukuei is one of those great examples of a sento that gets everything right, including the big table and tatami in the sitting area in the front. I took my daughter (9yo) with her school friend here and they had a great time. Especially when I take other peoples’ kids out to a sento I bear some responsibility for choosing a safe and healthy place. Sometimes that can be difficult but I knew from experience that Fukuei would be good for them. Baths are a bit hotter than average, but besides that no problems. Two other good things is that you can see this sento from the main exit of Kuise station and there are two 100 Yen Shops in the same area in case you forget a towel or something.
