Lovely very rural hot spring along a river in Asago somewhat near Wadayama station. You will need to plan well to get the bus or drive here. Simple design with one large bath a small cold water bath and a dry sauna inside plus a large stone lined outdoor bath. The view from the outdoor bath of the surrounding forest is outstanding. The spring water is immediately noticeable and "squeaky" feeling on the skin. The spring water was also insanely clear. The family also loved the spring here and want to return and I hope we do.
