Lovely building and very municipal so a bit overbuilt in some places. The spring here is the hot, hot water that is found all along the Japan Sea coast including Kinosaki. Naturally hot so probably a better bet to enjoy during the cold months. On the summer's day the well water cold bath was quite popular with everyone, as was the sauna. Great view of the mountains, rice fields and sky from the outdoor bath. One of those wide-open places you crave for after being in the urban areas of Japan for too long. The facility was remodeled just after my visit so might be a bit different now.
