Nadeshiko no Yu is an older onsen hotel that offers day use for cheap. It seems to attract mostly elderly people looking to use the radioactive waters to heal their ills. While interesting in design, the baths could be better. There's a late 70's sci-fi looking fountain in the main bath that is unique. The entire bathing area is built just below the ground so everything feels cavernous and a bit musky. Like the baths were in the basement of your uncle’s house in Missouri.

There's a great smoking area outside next to a pond and waterfall and a free foot bath near the entrance.

Getting here is cheap and easy if you use their free shuttle bus from Gakuentoshi station. Information is on their website.
