Up in the hills above Suma is this grand Korean themed supersento (hence the katakana name). Getting there was a bit hard, but the experience is well worth the trip. The style is very modern with clean, smooth black stone and geometric shapes throughout the interior. The bathing area seemed a bit dark, but in a relaxing way. A relaxing, refreshing atmosphere is created by the sound of running water, abundant plants, and large well designed baths.

Inside the central bath is carbonated well water. It's like the baths at Nada Onsen, but hotter and with smaller bubbles. Imagine bathing in hot Gerolsteiner. There is also a salt sauna which features different salts and fragrances depending on the day. The smell of the sauna was great, as was the salt, it was thicker and crunchier than the normal salt in these kind of saunas. Outside they have a "micronano bubble" bath which was opaque due to the millions of little bubbles in the water, sadly I couldn't feel the difference between that and the normal bath. There's also a large hot spring water bath outside with a few smaller baths around it.

Overall I feel this supersento was very well laid out but there were a few strange things. Going from the inside to outside baths you have to go through the changing room. The plastic boards around the tub baths outside warped under my weight. Sadly, and my last complaint, there weren't any clear windows to see the great landscape from the baths. These small gripes aside, it's a great bath.

You can catch a free shuttle bus to Chimujiruban from Myodani (名谷) and Myohoji (妙法寺) on the Kobe Subway. That would be the easiest way to get there without a car. The Kobe City bus also passes by Chimujirban. Instructions are on their website in Japanese.
