All the day use hot springs up in Tajima are outstanding and I had often skipped heading here as it is the one with the best access thinking that I could try it after going to the other places in the area. On the way home from a day trip to Fukuchiyama we stopped in here for a bath and some dinner. The food and the bath not disappoint! The onsen is surprisingly strong here with noticeable sediment along the tubs. I did not expect that. The "bijin-yu" supersoft water was lovely. This place gets more use than the other comparable day use hot springs in the area, probably due to location and the quality of the hot spring. Some of the lockers and bath fixtures were showing slight signs of fatigue, but nothing bad at all. After the bath the dinner and a local Tajima nihonshu one cup was outstanding. Good place all around.

Extra note, there is a roadside station at the bottom of the hill where this bathhouse is located. They have a selection of local produce and gifts plus a great restaurant and free hot spring footbath.
