Very quality onsen in a stoic, rural hipster style. Lots of great concrete baths—which I am a fan of. The warm sauna was one of the weirdest things I have seen. I did not get it at all. Everything else was great. I liked the many plants in the large rotenburo area. In the restaurant/lobby area there is a cool used book store and some interesting goods for sale. Be careful walking here on the little busy road from Busshozan Station, especially at night, as there are no sidewalks and lots of fast cars.
