Amazingly beautiful view of the mountains from baths filled with the softest water in Kansai. You will not belive how slippery this water is. Amazing place and a must try for any hot spring fan. Sadly it is far far away from anything. It's worth coming here for a day of hiking and enjoying the nature. In the area there is also a restaurant, bakery and microbrewery. Worth the trip, but be careful getting there in the winter as the roads can be icy.
