This facility has a municipal hotel, banquet hall, onsen, and pool.

The pool is ¥500 for 2 hours and is a basic swimming/exercise pool. It felt like being there to just enjoy the pool was not wanted. So, if you want to swim laps, I guess it's OK. For just taking your kids to the pool to play around in the water? No good. The no fun is allowed in Japan rule goes into full effect. Not worth it.

The hot spring is, on the other hand, quite good. There's a strong, dry sauna with a two-person sized cold bath to match. There's also a top-notch medicated/herbal bath that I enjoyed. The main indoor hot spring bath was decent on the skin. There were also some average jets and some strong bubbles installed. Outside is an utase which was a bit weak for my taste, and a huge shallow outdoor bath lined with giant stones. The garden surrounding the bath looked beautiful, but sadly it is not well lit in the evening.

Buy a ticket from the vending machine next to the shoe lockers for day use. You use the QR code on the ticket to open the gates to get into the baths. Be aware that the hotel reception on the first floor doesn't sell the tickets if you're paying in cash.
