Convenient to Noda and Ebie stations! I liked this place just looking at the exterior. Inside the lobby is pretty cluttered in a welcoming kind of way. The grandmother working the counter was fun to talk to and she was interested in how I enjoyed going to sento. She explained that the local Russian guy in the neighborhood loves using the sauna. Inside everything was very clean and tidy. There's a large shallow open air bath that was great in the afternoon sun. The cold water bath was also a treat. The interior is lit up at night by a city street light mounted to the side of the wall. Like a real, honest to goodness, streetlight. According to the grandmother during the Hanshin Awaji quake the original light fixture fell and was a danger to be replaced, so the owner went with the toughest thing he could find--a city streetlight. One of those unique things you stumble upon that makes touring sento so much fun.
