One of the two major old-school capsule hotel / overnight saunas in Umeda. For baths this one has an outdoor bath that is made of a porous type of ceramic that lets air bubbles squeeze up from the bottom. Very nice. There is also a selection of jet baths and a good main indoor bath made from marble. The selection of different saunas at different temperatures really make this place what it is. There is even the elusive cold sauna here.
There are two levels of capsule rooms. I chose the old ones and found them to be old but fine. I sleep like a baby in these things. Figuring your way around these huge multistory complexes at 4am after having a few is the hardest part of the experience... well that and the very skinny lockers they use. The staff was friendly and kind. You can also just stay overnight for cheaper in the bathing and lounging area if you do not need the privacy of a capsule.
Capsule hotels and saunas like this are a very Japanese thing and something to be enjoyed, but please try to be respectful to the other guests if you do try this out.
