Nikko Onsen is a simple yet very clean and very open feeling sento. From the spacious waiting room to the tall roof in the baths this sento feels big, despite it’s real size. The features, the baths, the chaining room are all very clean and well maintained. Water constantly flows from the spigots recycling the baths. There’s a good selection of temperatures and bath sizes. The estue jet bath is one of the best I’ve been in. The water in the tub with the jet baths has a strong chlorine smell that was distracting. Besides that one small complaint, this was a great sento. It’s also close to the station making it a good one to try out.
