The onsen here smelt great. Smooth silky feeling though not that strong. Showers varied in temperature a bit too much ended up splashing some very hot water on myself and my daughter to her surprise by accident. Men's rotenburo has a nice view of the river. Rooms are quite reasonably priced we stayed in a Japanese style room with no meals for around ¥8,000 for two adults and a 2 year old child.
